Surfer Joe's, San Bernardino

Lasagna Special $5.99

Updated 11/09/2009
Made another visit to Surfer Joe's, this was my second visit.

They have three lunch specials.
Mini Pizza and Soda $4.99
Lasagna and Cheese Bread $5.99
Spaghetti and Cheese Bread $5.99

I chose the Lasagna this time. The place looked run down and a little dirty. Service is very slow and indifferent. Do not choose Surfer Joe's if you are in a hurry. The food was just OK. The Lasagna was served in a small tin that it was baked in. I believe this is a frozen entree that they heat and serve. The Lasagna had lots of Ricotta cheese and pasta, served with what appeared to be a marinara sauce. It came with a large slice of garlic bread served with cheese on top and a small soda. Best part of the meal was the cheesy bread. Total out the door was $6.47. I do not understand why no sandwich specials? Usually I am in a hurry during lunch and cannot afford to wait 10 minutes to order my food and another 15 waiting to be served. I think would much prefer Mona Lisa in Redlands.
