Yoshinoya Restaurant, Upland
Chicken Bowl Combo $5.69
Yoshinoyo

This is a fast food chain located throughout Southern California. Two local stores in Colton and San Bernardino closed in the last few years, so a longer drive now when the urge hits. Yoshinoyo is a nice change from regular fast food, basic rice bowl topped with meat and veggies. The food here is served hot, quick and tasty. The beef bowl is topped with their standard vegetable mix and thinly sliced beef mixed with onion, it tastes acceptable but in my opinion the chicken bowl beats it absolutely. The Chicken tastes char broiled and is smothered in a light teriyaki sauce. Chicken is crispy and has a wonderful taste, can't be beat for $3.75. Yoshinoyo now serves combos with many different choices, I like my combo with the chicken soup. I eat the meat and veggies and then pour the soup over the left over rice, yum, good chicken rice soup. Condiments available, spicy red ginger, soy sauce and dried chili, I use all three. Try the sesame chicken wings, they are delish.
