Carolyn's Cafe is hidden in a small strip mall near the DMV in Redlands. Carolyn's is small and has a home-style decor, bright and cheerful. It always seems to be busy and appears to be a favorite with local law enforcement. I think it is a family run operation. The service is fast and efficient, provided by two attractive young ladies. We only go for breakfast so cannot vouch for the lunch menu. The breakfast is always excellent, the home fries are seasoned right and very tasty. Lots of specialty scrambles on the menu for $8.40. The crowning glory to the breakfast is the homemade coffeecake served with the meal as a bread choice. The coffeecake alone is worth the trip.
